Sada LaVelle was born in Oklahoma but spent most of her childhood in Texas & Georgia. She discovered her passion and love for fitness in 2014 and since then her life has taken her on the most amazing journey she could have ever imagined. She never anticipated her passion and dedication to fitness would turn into a career for her. In her high school years she was not involved in any sports, although she tried out for basketball and track and loved activity, she never seemed to be successful at organized sports. This changed the way she viewed herself and found herself constantly fighting against the mentality that she would never be good enough. Growing up she struggled with body image, her relationship with food, and trying to “fit” in with society’s mold of what a woman should look like. She had never made health or fitness a priority until her early twenties.
Lifting weights taught me that my strength comes from within, I finally feel strong, confident, healthy and beautiful.
Sada LaVelle graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in May of 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Arts majoring in Political Science with plans on pursuing her law degree after graduation. It was during her college years she gained nearly 30 pounds. Upon graduation she was determined to make her health a priority. She had always desired to be a strong fit woman. She had tried numerous diets in the past but nothing seemed to ever work for her. It wasn’t until she discovered the National Physique Committee and competitive bodybuilding in 2014 that soon began to be the most life-changing hobby she could have ever taken up. She began lifting weights and learning about healthy nutritious foods and lost nearly 30 pounds in a matter of 8 weeks. She found being in the gym as therapy and felt completely at home and in her zone. What she didn’t realize was that her life was about to change completely.
In 2015 she began training for her first NPC Bikini competition and trained harder than she ever had before all on her own. She placed 2nd in Open Bikini and 1st in Novice Bikini at the 2015 Oklahoma Grand Prix and she has been training and competing ever since. After the competition she felt as if she had truly changed herself and began immersing herself into learning everything she possibly could about fitness and nutrition. She began educating herself on the principles of nutrition and strength training which soon changed her life trajectory in a huge way. During this time she also became very passionate about helping others improve their lives as well. This craving for knowledge led her to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ISSA Certified Nutrition Specialist, ISSA Exercise Therapy Specialist as well as obtain her ISSA Strength and Conditioning Certification. This education has provided her a strong foundation of fitness and the desire to continue mastering her own personal physical fitness through continued education.
Sada LaVelle’s Before and After journey through weightlifting and fitness.
“One of the most important things I have learned throughout my journey is that fitness is much more than physical appearance it’s about finding what works best for you, creating balance, and developing a healthy mindset. Lifting weights taught me that my strength comes from within, I finally feel strong, confident, healthy and beautiful. Bodybuilding taught me that women are meant to be strong and powerful, both physically and mentally. Bodybuilding helped me to find my true purpose which is showing others how to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle and to motivate and empower others to achieve their goals. Fitness and competitive bodybuilding is my heart and soul and is how I transformed my self-confidence and developed a healthy state of mind. It is my mission to be an example and to inspire others that your life is your creation and we all have the ability to become the person that we want to be. I truly believe that a healthy body and a healthy mind contribute to our overall happiness which is why it is my mission to help others achieve life-long results in their fitness journey.”
“It is my goal to help you achieve your fitness and health goals and exceed your expectations.”
